For buffing fresh or cured automotive paints with aggressive cutting action. Removes 1200 grit and finer sand scratches with a 3M™ White Wool Compound Pad (#3M-5711) or 1500 grit and finer with a 3M™ White Foam Compound Pad (#3M-5737). Proceed with 3M-6094 Machine Polish (Step 2). Made in USA.
How to use
Surface Preparation : Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the compound. Apply Compound : Dispense a small amount of the compound onto a polishing pad or clean cloth. Buff the Surface : Using a rotary buffer or by hand, work the compound into the surface with even pressure. Wipe and Inspect : After buffing, wipe away excess compound with a clean microfiber cloth and inspect the finish. Repeat if Necessary : For deeper scratches, repeat the process until the desired finish is achieved. This compound provides a high-gloss, smooth finish, perfect for restoring automotive paint.
