3M™ Foam Compounding Pad is a great, fast-cutting foam pad designed for refining and removing sanding scratches and swirls. The convolute foam face conforms to curves and body lines to reduce chatter for improved finishes. It also holds compound to help reduce slinging and the hook-and-loop attachment makes for fast, easy attachment to rotary polishers.
Attach to Polisher : Secure the pad to a rotary or dual-action polisher. Apply Compound : Add a small amount of compound to the pad or directly to the surface. Buff the Surface : Use even pressure and circular motions to polish the surface. Clean After Use : Rinse the pad with water and let it dry for reuse. This pad is ideal for achieving a flawless, professional finish on automotive surfaces when used with polishing compounds.
